Deloitte has had an increase in revenue this year.

We have experienced a 6.5 percent boost in revenue. This gain can be attributed to our firms time investment into consulting. The big four companies are beginning to take on more consulting jobs now that the auditing market has reached its peak. Consulting has contributed to the revenue boost by having a 10.3 percent revenue raise.

Since Deloitte has chosen to move our focus over to consulting we have received a positive result. Companies must know when it is time to kick other aspects of their business into high gear. We have done just that and it has allowed them a very high increase in revenues. Do you agree with our decision to sort of leave their auditing side where it is at in order to focus more on consulting?

Deloitte is creating more jobs.

We are set to create 638 job positions across Ireland. These positions will range from professional to graduate to undergraduate. The undergraduate aspect will include a co-op program as well as summer internships. For graduates, Deloitte is set to create 200 positions in South Ireland. These positions will range from audit to corporate finance. There isn’t a set number on how many professional jobs will be made but they do expect a 700 job increase by 2019. This move will cause a boost in Ireland’s economy due to the pay rate being higher than local private sector. Peter Robinson talks about how this investment shows the positivity of Ireland’s work force since this is Deloitte’s second time expanding there. We will be receiving 3.3 million in financial support from the government.

Why is this important? Not only is it creating jobs in Ireland but this could be a position for anyone. We are an international company. We deal will clients from all around the world and have a very diverse work force with people from different parts of the company. So not only are we creating jobs for Ireland, we are creating an opportunity for you.
